Around the Horn: Delgado's Struggles Continues

Following up on Dave's post yesterday, the always insighful Bob Klapisch of The North Jersey Record examines why Carlos Delgado appears to have gotten old quickly. In the article, Klapisch writes that Delgado's tirade with home plate umpire after his 3rd strikeout of the night is a clear sign that his season-long slump - or rapid decline in skills - is starting to get to him. A scout is quoted, saying of Delgado: 'He looks more tentative than I ever remember seeing him. He's guessing a lot.'

Let's hope he snaps out this soon. We need his bat.
