Via Metsblog.com, I came across this story about Mike Piazza getting hit in the head with a water bottle that was thrown by a fan. The fan was escorted from the stadium and then Piazza proceeded to hit a game tying single and really stick it to the Angels and their fans.Nobody messes with Mike Piazza and gets away with it. NOBODY.
I wonder if he's available before the trading deadline? How sweet would that be to add Piazza to the roster for a playoff run. You think the A's want Ricky Ledee back?
