Wally's World?

The indelible image will be forever etched in my memory. Wally Backman and Lenny Dykstra jumping, skipping and spinning around the basepaths in Game 3 of the 1986 NLCS when Dykstra hit a dramatic walk off home run to beat the Astros. I was jumping in similar fashion right along with them, from my living room.

21 years later, Wally Backman is being captured on film for a different reason. Managing the South Georgia Peanuts, an independent minor league team, Backman will be the subject of a reality show by documentary filmaker, John Fitzgerald.
